Set in around 1,000 acres of Cheshire countryside near Chester, there is an incredible variety of places to photograph your wedding. From the landscaped gardens and vineyard to the Nicklaus championship golf course, the outdoor Gazebo and the beautiful interiors of the hotel, every part of Carden Park gives your wedding photographs a different feel.
I've photographed couples at Hole 18 with the Cheshire countryside stretching out behind them at golden hour. I've photographed intimate ceremonies in the Shooting Suite and bigger celebrations in the Carden Suite. I've captured many outdoor Gazebo ceremonies on beautiful spring and summer afternoons, as well as plenty of Carden Park weddings where the weather had other ideas.

I've captured couples at hole 18 at golden hour with the entire Cheshire countryside stretching out behind them. I've shot ceremonies in the intimate warmth of the Shooting Suite and the grand scale of the Carden Suite. I've watched couples exchange vows in the outdoor Gazebo on perfect spring afternoons with views that genuinely take your breath away. Every part of this venue tells a different story, and every part photographs beautifully.
The Three Ceremony Spaces at Carden Park
The Shooting Suite is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings. With its exposed wooden beams, open fireplaces, and private bar, it has a warmth and character that creates the most beautiful photography. Many of my favourite Carden Park shots have come from this room.
The Carden Suite is Carden Park's largest space, featuring a stage, and a huge dancefloor. For bigger parties who want to fill a room with energy and celebration, this is the one.
The Outdoor Gazebo is my favourite ceremony space. Simply stunning for spring, summer, and autumn weddings. Saying your vows here, surrounded by the hotel's landscaped gardens and looking out over the golf course, is the kind of moment that photographs itself. When the weather plays ball, this is one of the most beautiful ceremony settings in Cheshire.

The Gazebo is my favourite ceremony space at Carden Park. When the weather plays ball, it's genuinely hard to beat — you're surrounded by landscaped gardens, looking out over the golf course, with the whole Cheshire countryside as your backdrop. For spring, summer, and early autumn weddings, it produces the kind of open-air ceremony photographs that honestly feel like they photograph themselves. I've captured dozens of ceremonies there and I feel the same way every time.
Q6: How far in advance should I book a wedding photographer at Carden Park?
Most couples at Carden Park book 12 to 18 months ahead, and popular Saturdays between May and October fill up quickly.
