Set in 1,000 acres of stunning Cheshire countryside near Chester, Carden Park Hotel is one of those venues that makes a photographer's job genuinely joyful. I've captured couples at hole 18 at golden hour with the entire Cheshire countryside stretching out behind them. I've shot ceremonies in the intimate warmth of the Shooting Suite and the grand scale of the Carden Suite. I've watched couples exchange vows in the outdoor Gazebo on perfect spring afternoons with views that genuinely take your breath away. Every part of this venue tells a different story, and every part photographs beautifully.

Carden Park is simply one of the most photogenic wedding venues in Cheshire, and I never get tired of shooting here. The variety of spaces, from the intimate warmth of the Shooting Suite to the grandeur of the Carden Suite and the open air beauty of the Gazebo, means every wedding looks and feels completely different, even at the same venue.Outside, the 1,000 acres of Cheshire countryside give us endless options for couple portraits. The grounds around hole 18 on the Nicklaus golf course offer some of the most breathtaking views I've captured anywhere in the region. The vineyard provides a stunning and slightly unexpected backdrop. And when the golden hour light hits the open landscape in the late afternoon, the results are genuinely spectacular.I know this venue well enough to know exactly where to be and when, which means less time posing and more time enjoying your wedding day. The Three Ceremony Spaces at Carden Park
The Shooting Suite is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings. With its exposed wooden beams, open fireplaces, and private bar, it has a warmth and character that creates the most beautiful photography. Many of my favourite Carden Park shots have come from this room.
The Carden Suite is Carden Park's largest space, featuring a stage, and a huge dancefloor. For bigger parties who want to fill a room with energy and celebration, this is the one.
The Outdoor Gazebo is my favourite ceremony space. Simply stunning for spring, summer, and autumn weddings. Saying your vows here, surrounded by the hotel's landscaped gardens and looking out over the golf course, is the kind of moment that photographs itself. When the weather plays ball, this is one of the most beautiful ceremony settings in Cheshire.

Their September wedding at Carden Park was everything the autumn countryside setting deserves, full of emotion, happy tears, and a first dance that had everyone on their feet.
