Lucy and Matt’s story began back in high school, where their paths first crossed long before either of them realised what the future had in store. Although they stayed in touch through the early days on MSN, it wasn’t until ten years later that fate stepped in, bringing them back together after swiping right on Tinder! Despite Matt taking Lucy to the Micklehead Premier Inn for their first date, it was clear something special had begun, and fittingly, they went on to marry each other exactly ten years and one day later! Matt proposed to Lucy in Krakow, after carrying the engagement ring with him all day before finally getting down on one knee in the main square, surrounded by the festive glow of the Christmas markets. Happily, she said YES!

Their wedding day at Carden Park Hotel on 26th September 2025 was everything they had hoped for. Full of love, laughter, and a few happy tears, especially from Matt as Lucy walked down the aisle. Despite Matt having some pre-wedding nerves about the first dance, he and Lucy well and truly smashed it and surprised everyone by busting some impressive moves on the dance floor, rounding off an incredible day!
