Sravya and Richard
Rydal Penrhos & The Kinmel - North Wales Wedding
Richard and Sravya met right at the beginning of Covid. The start of their relationships involved getting to know each other very quickly before everyone was told to start isolating. Sravya tells me that their first date was particularly memorable, as Richard was supposed to buy her a drink but couldn’t work the app! From that point on, Sravya has been in charge of organising everything!
Six months into their relationship, Richard ended up getting a job 2 hours away, but they managed to maintain long distance relationship, until Richard moved back closer to home! Three years later and after a lot of nagging (according to Sravya) Richard finally got down on one knee and proposed engaged Sravya’s birthday. Happily, she said YES!
And that brings us up to their wedding celebrations! As is tradition with Indian weddings, the celebrations started the day before the happy couple tied the knot. Richard and Sravya celebrated with all their friends and family with a Sangeet at Rydal Penrhos is Colwyn Bay. The stunning colourful outfits and incredible dancing was a joy to capture. We were treated to a number of dances from Sravya's friends as well as her mum alongside her Uni friends.
Their wedding day was on 7th September 2024 at The Kinmel in Abergele, set in the heart of the beautiful North Wales Coast with far reaching views of the countryside.
Sravya and the girls had chosen to get ready in her parent's house, where she grow up. She tells me it was important to come back to her roots on her wedding day. Meanwhile, Richard and his groomsmen were getting ready at the wedding venue. Before long, he was waiting at the end of the aisle for Srvya to be escorted to him by the very proud father of the bride, Victor. The said their vows, exchanged rings and had their very first kiss as a married couple.
After getting some stunning wedding photos and videos, the speeches took place before Sravya and Richard partied long into the night with their wedding guests!
It was an absolute pleasure to capture Sravya and Richard's wedding celebration and my team and I wish them all the very best for the future!
