Sarah and Dean
Llangollen Wedding
Sarah and Dean first met in secondary school and went out with each other for a short while. They eventually ended up going their separate ways but 15 years later they had a chance meeting on the canal when they were both walking their dogs..... and the rest is history!
They got engaged in their next door neighbour's man cave after a party with all their friends. Dean proposed with a glass of Jack Daniels and after Sarah had finished laughing uncontrollably, she said YES and everyone cheered!
Sarah tells me that she loves how easy going Dean is and that he has a great sense of humour. She especially loves their days out in the countryside and walks by the sea side.
Dean tells me that he loves how Sarah can make him laugh and cry! Although she often puts him in his place, she has amazing personality and they love doing things together such as going to the zoo, watching motor racing and going to the steam shows.
Their wedding was on 24th September 2022. After a number of covid postponements, they finally got their amazing wedding day, and the weather was perfect for them! Mine and Anwen's day started with the girls getting ready at Sarah's sister, Mandy's house. Nick started with the lads getting ready. Unfortunately, he was treated with a bit of a gruesome sight as Dean had managed to slice his finger open while trying to put a hole in his belt!! Needless to say, it wasn't for the faint hearted as there was blood everywhere!! However, Dean didn't let this dampen spirits and with the help of his groomsmen, he had bandaged (and electrical taped) up his wound and was ready for the chapel! While all that was going on, Sarah and her bridesmaids were getting their hair and make up done! It wasn't long before Sarah was in her gorgeous wedding dress and her very proud Dad, Peter was seeing her for the first time in her dress!
Trevor Chapel was the location for their wedding venue. A beautiful secluded chapel just outside Llangollen, overlooking some stunning scenery. They exchanged rings, Dean kissed his bride and they were married!! After some photos outside the chapel, Sarah and Dean jumped back into the vintage Morris Minor belonging to Sarah's Uncle and we were off to Plas Newydd, where we had been very kindly granted permission to use the grounds for some photos before going back to Llangollen Pavilion for their wedding reception!
It was a fantastic wedding day for this fantastic couple, and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to capture their memories!
