The Oak Tree of Peover Wedding
Sam and Tom
Sam and Tom met way back in 2015 after Sam got a job where Tom was working. They quickly became really good friends. They'd often go on lunch together and split packs of Cawston Press Elderflower lemonade. Sam knew that Tom was her person, he just didn't realise it yet! They became official in May 2016 and bought their first home together a year later. In October 2018, they welcomed their daughter Eva into the world!
Fast forward to October 2022 and Sam, Tom and Eva were having a family holiday in North Wales. They decided to take Eva to Portmeirion, which is where Sam and Tom had their first date. As they wandered down towards the water, they came across a bench that they'd sat on and talked about the ideas of getting married 6 years earlier. As Sam was taking photos of the scenery, Tom asked her if she remembered the exact spot they were stood in all those years back, before getting down on one knee and asking her if she'd be his partner in crime! Of course Sam said Yes! However, Eva was furious as she wanted to marry her daddy! I think by their wedding day, she had forgiven them!
And that brings us up to their big day! Sam and Tom had chosen the stunning Oak Tree of Peover to get married. A beautiful wedding venue set in the Cheshire countryside. Our day started with Sam and her bride tribe getting ready, before Tom and his groom squad arrived a couple of hours later. Before long Sam was being escorted down the aisle by her dad and step-dad where Tom was holding back the tears awaiting her arrival. They said their vows and exchanged rings, which had been delivered by an owl, and had their first kiss as a married couple! The weather was stunning all day so we took advantage of the beautiful grounds at The Oak Tree for some photos and videos. Speeches were made, we did a brilliant photo dash, and it was time for Sam and Tom to have their first dance as a married couple, before partying into the night surrounded by friends and family!
It was a pleasure to capture their day! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Allen-Mead
