A McDonald's Date to last Forever: Mike and Matt's Amazing Wedding

Mike and Matt, who first crossed paths in January 2017, recently celebrated their love in a heartwarming wedding ceremony on July 22, 2023, which also happened to be my birthday! Their journey from a quirky first date in a McDonald's car park on the A55, to a stunning wedding at Clawdd Offa Farm is nothing short of magical.

The proposal soon came, in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. Whilst on The Jannes Lovers boat, Mike proposed to Matt as they sailed beneath The Skinny Bridge. It was a moment filled with romance and excitement, setting the wheels in motion for the planning process of their incredible wedding.

Their big day was a true reflection of their personalities and love for each other. Clawdd Offa Farm provided the perfect outdoor setting for their wedding ceremony, followed by a lively reception in the marquee as everyone dodged the torrential rain falling outside!

 

Mike and Matt's personal touch was evident throughout, with handmade signage and decorations that added a unique and personal touch to the festivities.

Their wedding was a testament to love's ability to transform everyday moments into extraordinary memories. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and a few tears too, celebrating not only their union but also the beautiful journey that brought them together.
