Laura and Sam

Laura and Sam first met in January 2022 after Laura became a trustee of the charity where Sam works. Initially all of their contact was via work Zoom calls but they finally met in person in September 2022 in Anglesey. They hit it off immediately, bonding over music and theatre. After lot's of 'pre-dates', Laura and and Sam made things official and had their first 'proper' date watching The Super Mario Bros movie!

Fast forward to February 2024, they went on a trip Harry Potter themed trip to London. After attending various shows and tours, Sam decided it was the perfect time to ask Laura to marry him. So he took her Platform 9¾ at Kings Cross station. It was during a photoshoot that Sam got down on one knee and asked Laura to marry him! She tells me it was a magical moment.... and that of course, she said YES!!

That brings us up to their wedding day! They had chosen St Luke's church in Crosby to tie the knot. Their guests were treated to an amazing performance from the gospel choir that Laura is a member of prior to the service. When Laura was escorted down the aisle by her very proud dad, you could see how delighted Sam was to become her husband. After the service we all went to the Delta Marriott hotel in Liverpool city centre for their wedding reception. After the happy couple had been announced into the wedding breakfast, Laura surprised Sam with an impromptu song written by one of their friends. After the speeches and food, it had got dark outside, so we took Laura and Sam over to St Georges Hall for some evening weddings photos, before getting them back to the venue for their first dance as a married couple.

It was a fantastic day for this amazing couple and my team and I would like to wish Laura and Sam all the very best for the future!
