Thornton Hall Hotel Wedding

Julie and Luke's love story started in July 2019, when Luke was contacted by Julie to come and price a job at her house. For Luke, it was love at first sight, however, it took Julie a little longer for her to warm to him. Luke not only won the job that he was quoting on but eventually won Julie's heart too!

Fast forward to February 15th 2020... Luke took Julie on a trip to London. It wasn't just a random trip as Luke planned to propose to Julie at the Tower of London! In order to capture the moment, Luke asked someone standing nearby to take a picture of them. As they posed for the pictures, Luke went down and one knee and popped the question! Happily and with tears of joy, Julie said YES!

That brings us on to their amazing wedding day! Their wedding venue was the stunning Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa, a venue I love shooting at! The day was full of love, laughter and even a few tears, especially when Nathan their son read a message to his parents during the ceremony! Before long, rings were exchanged and they shared their first kiss as a married couple!

The weather Gods were smiling down on us on the day. Despite it raining in the morning, the sun was cracking the flags in the afternoon meaning perfect weather for some amazing photos around the grounds of Thornton Hall!

It was an absolute pleasure to capture Julie and Luke's wedding day!
