Cock o'Barton Wedding
Jessica and Jamie

Jessica and Jamie's first date was at Hickory's in Chester. During the date, Jessica discovered Jamie's love of food. When they got talking about it, his first question was "Can you cook?" to which she replied "Yes". Jamie's response was "right, you'll do!" Who said romance was dead?!!

Jamie proposed on a small Island in the Lake District which they rowed to in their canoe. He had also squeezed a sack of logs, a bbq and a load of food into the canoe. Jess was getting really annoyed because it was taking so long to get there due to rowing for an hour against the wind. Once they eventually got there, they were treated to a stunning sunset, where Jamie popped the question. Happily, by this point, Jess and forgotten about the canoe trip and said YES!!

That brings us up to their wedding day on 4th May 2024.

Our day started with Jess and her bride tribe getting ready at her parent's house. Following a few dramas with one of the bridesmaid's dresses splitting, the 'noseccos' were flowing and everything was back on track. Meanwhile, my colleagues were with Jamie and the lads, as they were finishing getting ready, before heading to the church!

After Jess and Jamie had said their vows and shared their first kiss as a married couple, we captured some photos around the church grounds before heading to their wedding reception at Cock o'Barton, a stunning 17th century coaching inn, nestled in the heart of Cheshire. Speeches were given, garden games played and ice creams consumed, before Jessica and Jamie partied into the night surrounded by their friends and family!

It was an absolute pleasure to capture Jessica and Jamie's amazing day! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Merritt!
