Jess and Shawn

Shawn and Jess knew one another as children as their families had always lived on the same estate, and Jess was school friends with Shawns sister. Shawn would often see Jess' dad in the local pub and ask how she was doing? He had asked Jess out on a few dates but she had always declined! Eventually, she agreed and the rest is history. In 2019 their son Harry came along, and the family grew again in November 2025 with the arrival of baby Vincent. Safe to say life got a lot fuller and a lot louder!

And now here they are, getting married in a Castle! 🎉

What makes their day even more remarkable is that Jess woke up in the morning with a horrible sickness bug. After being adviced by NHS 111 to postpone the wedding (!), which she had absolutely zero intention of doing, the happy couple had the most incredible day surrounded by love, laughter, and so much happiness. We even snuck out into the grounds of the castle for some stunning photos between the rain showers. The evening got off to an unforgettable start with the cake being cut with an actual sword 🗡️, before an emotional father-daughter dance between Jess and her dad Paul before handing his girl over to Shawn for their very first dance as husband and wife. What an incredible day and it was a privilege to capture their lifelong memories! 🥂
