Rookery Hall Wedding
Cassie and Tom
Cassie & Tom | Rookery Hall, Cheshire | 21st March 2026
Tom and Cassie met at work and were friends for years before everything fell into place. They got engaged on 15th March 2025, and the story is very them. Tom had had a rough day at work when their song, Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley, came on the radio. In that moment he decided he wanted to marry Cassie. Being impulsive, he left the house straight away, told Cassie he was going to play pool with his friends, and instead went to speak to her parents.
While he was there, he mentioned he didn't know her ring size. Her mum, being wonderfully crafty, sent him home with some plasticine so he could take an imprint of one of Cassie's rings. That weekend, while Cassie was at the zoo with her maid of honour, he took the plasticine imprint to the jeweller, and left the same day with the perfect ring, which happened to already be in her size. He was so excited that when Cassie got home, their song was playing, and he proposed the moment she walked through the door.
Their wedding day at Rookery Hall was every bit as joyful as their love story. This stunning Georgian manor house, nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, provided the most beautiful backdrop for a day that was incredibly fun filled, with genuine love and laughter. The beautiful grounds, picturesque lake, and uninterrupted views across lush parkland made for incredible photos and video.
Rookery Hall is a venue I absolutely love to shoot at, and Cassie and Tom's day was one of my favourite weddings to have shot! Scroll down to relive every moment - including the Joanie Lunge!
