Jordan and Anastasia got engaged in April 2022. Jordan popped the question at Lake Vrynwy. Neither of them can actually remember what was said, as they were both overcome with so much happiness and excitement! But clearly Anastasia said yes, as here we are today!

 

A few months before they got engaged, Anastasia had been given a childhood memory box. In that box was a journal where she had drawn up her ‘future wedding’ plans when she was 8 years old. The ring that she had described had a topaz stone… the engagement ring that Jordan bought had a topaz stone!

Their amazing wedding day was on 26th May 2023 and the weather was perfect! They chose The Wild Pheasant Hotel and Spa in Llangollen as their wedding venue. Set in a beautiful countryside location, surrounded by rolling hills and the River Dee, its tranquil ambiance and natural surroundings create the perfect atmosphere for weddings.

On the morning of their wedding day, Jordan and his groomsmen were at home enjoying a few beers and half an hour on the Playstation. Meanwhile, Anastasia and her bridal party were putting the finishing touches to hair and their make up at The Wild Pheasant. Before long Anastasia's very proud dad was ready to walk her down the aisle, where Jordan and his best man George were waiting. I've shot lots of weddings, but today was the first wedding I've done where ring bearers were alpacas! With Anastasia being an animal lover, there could be no better choice of ring bearer, and it was a total surprise for the guests!  With that, rings were exchanged, they had their first kiss and they were married!

Anastasia and Jordan's wedding day was filled with so much laughter, love and happiness. We got to go for a walk with the alpacas and took a stroll down to the River Dee for photos.
