Catherine and Huw

Catherine and Huw's relationship blossomed in 2019 on a trip to Amsterdam, where Huw had joined Catherine and 2 of her friends. The 2 friends could see the chemistry between them, however they didn't officially get together until 2020, right as lockdown had just been announced! They spent the lockdown FaceTiming each other, going for socially distanced walks and with Catherine baking brownies and cakes for Huw! As their relationship progressed they went on lots of holidays and bought their first home in Mold in 2021.

 

Fast forward to their amazing wedding day! Catherine and Huw chose St Mary's church in Mold for their wedding service. Catherine was escorted down the aisle to Huw, by her very proud dad Graham, whilst the incredible 'Echo Strings' String Quartet accompanied by the hugely talented 'The Jazz Spot' played them in. Before long, they had said their vows, exchanged rings and had their first kiss as a married couple.

They say it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day.... Catherine and Huw are destined to have the very best of luck, as it poured down most of the day. Upon arrival at Soughton Hall, we did manage to get a very brief break in the rain, just about long enough for the confetti throw but that break was short lived! Not to be deterred Catherine and Huw grabbed an umbrella and we braved the rain for some shots around the stunning grounds at Soughton Hall.

The day was rounded off with a touching father daughter dance, followed by Catherine and Huw's first dance as a married couple before dancing into the night surrounded by their friends and family, with 'Fletch Band' providing the sound track.
