Late last year, I heard about a couple who were planning their dream wedding. Peter and Karon had known each other for 15 years but a few months earlier, Karon was diagnosed with cancer. Their wedding was organised by Gift of a Wedding and together with a number of other suppliers, we had 2 weeks to make their dream day a reality. 1st of December 2017 was their big day and I provided the wedding videography services. It was an emotional day, filled with laughter and tears.... but overall, everyone could see the love they had for each other. Tragically, Karon lost her battle with cancer just 2 days after her wedding day. Peter got in touch this week to say that he was ready to share the wedding video with friends and family and with his permission, I posted it on my business Facebook page. The outpouring of tributes and comments has been incredible. After just 24 hours, the video was shared over 100 times. It just goes to show how much love the people of Liverpool and North West England have for each other.
