Michelle and Dave first met through family back in 1995. She used to hang around with Dave's cousin and although she and Dave were in the same high school together, they never really associated back then, as he was a bit of a nerd, so Michelle tells me!!

 

They got engaged when they were 17 on a family holiday with Daves family. He got up on stage in the clubhouse and proposed! Michelle tells me that this was surprising as Dave is not normally a social person, so to do something like that was a big shock!! They were engaged for 5 years and in between getting engaged and their wedding, they had their son Connor in 1998 and bought their first home! They got married on 3rd August 2002 and 2 years later along came their daughter Olivia. 

 

Michelle tells me that she loves that Dave is a hardworking guy, has always provided for her and their children. He is a fun loving dad and has always been supportive of them both, although when his daughter came along, Michelle tells me that she did see a different side to Dave as a dad of a little girl (his little pud) as he calls her!

I first met Michelle and Dave at a wedding fayre at Leasowe Castle, where they told me about their vow renewal plans for August 2022. They had chosen Christchurch in Wallasey to renew their wedding vows before going on to the Grosvenor Ballrooms for the evening celebrations! We did have time for a quick stop off at Central Park for some photos in the glorious sun!

I had a fantastic time capturing the photos for Michelle and Dave's vow renewal and really enjoyed spending their day with them, their friends and their family!
