Larissa and Adam
The Hundred House Hotel

Adam and Larissa met on Tinder 4 years ago! Larissa’s friend, Georgie had secretly created her a Tinder profile and then within a few days they had matched, met up at Town Park and well...  the rest is history!

They got engaged at an Ed Sheeran concert in Barcelona! Liss hates being in the spotlight so Adam couldn't get down on one knee and ask in front of everyone. So during one of the songs, he had to try and get her to come to the bar with him. It wasn’t easy he tells me, but eventually she went with him. He anxiously he got down on one knee and popped the question! She was stunned.... but obviously said YES!! It was the best moment ever he tells me. Adam loves how Larissa is so kind, caring and that she’d go to the end of the world for anyone. Her kindness and generosity, not only to him, but also to others is just amazing he says. Larissa says that she loves absolutely everything about Adam!

I first met them both when I captured Larissa's sister, Becky's wedding back in 2019. After they'd seen Becky and Chris' photos and videos, they wanted to get booked in straight away. After a few postponements due to covid, they finally had their big day on 11th June 2022. They'd chosen The Hundred House Hotel in Norton, Shropshire. Quite a fitting location given that Norton is also Larissa and Adam's surname! It's a beautiful intimate venue with a stunning secret garden!

My day started with the girls getting ready in a little shepherd's hut. Larissa, her maid of honour, Tia and her 2 sisters, Becky and Fi, who were bridesmaids were fully in a super chilled out mood! Larissa's little nephew, Ollie provided the entertainment as he tried in vain to pull the mirror off the wall and keep threatening to jump out of the hut! Before too long, the girls were ready and it was time! Larissa's dad came to get her and the look on his face when he saw her in her dress, was priceless! Adam was waiting tentatively at the front of the room as their guest filed in before Larissa was walked down the aisle by her very proud dad!  They'd actually done the legal marriage the previous year, so one of Adam's friends had been asked to perform the wedding! He'd never ever done it before but nailed the ceremony and definitely got a few laughs from the guests!

The weather was perfect all day and we got some beautiful photos in the secret garden. Afterwards, it was time to cut the cake(s). They had not one, but two Colin the caterpillar cakes! After one of the Colin's had been decapitated, it was time for the first dance! Adam and Larissa partied long in to the night with their friends and family and it was clear that they are well suited!

It was a pleasure to capture their special day. Presenting their wedding gallery!
