Gwenno and Tom
Gwenno and Tom's wedding took place on 18th June 2022. Their wedding venue was one of the cow sheds on Gwenno's dad's farm which had been beautifully decorated and set up for the 350 guests who were invited for the reception! Our day started at Gwenno's Mum and Dad's place were the girls were getting ready. Gwenno, who is one of the most chilled out brides I've ever met, was getting her hair and make up done, while her bridesmaids knocked up some scrambled egg on toast. Her dad Will, who I can see is where Gwenno gets her chilled out manner from, arrived in the room towards the end of bridal preps in order for her mum to cut his hair, ready for the job of walking his daughter down the aisle!
Upon arrival at Dothan chapel, we met Tom, who was equally chilled out. As his Dad said his speech, Tom and Gwenno are so alike, they are like two peas in a pod! They tied the knot in front of 20 of their nearest and dearest and following the confetti shot, it was time to get back to her Mum and Dad's farm at Bodorgan to greet the many waiting guests. Something I found absolutely amazing was all the residents on the way back from the chapel were out in the roads with banners and bunting to congratulate the newly married couple on their way back! I was blown away by the amazing community spirit!
Back at the reception, food was served, speeches were made, along with lots of words of advice for the couple from the guests, and the party atmosphere got going. Gwenno was determined to drag her bridesmaids up to join her and Tom literally as soon as the first dance music started, and after half a minute they obliged!! Haha!
It was a fantastic wedding and it was a pleasure to be able to capture it.
