Graham was a friend of Fiona's brother who introduced them at their local pub 12 years ago. In 2018, they took a trip to New York. In a break to tradition, Fiona proposed to Graham whilst in the Big Apple and he said yes! Fiona loves Graham's dry sense of humour and he never fails to make her laugh! She loves that he is kind, loving and supportive of her goals in life. She says that they share lots of interests but also have their own pastimes which they both say is important in life. Graham tells me that he and Fiona are like ying and yang. He says that Fiona is the accelerator and he is the brakes - the cautious one in the relationship. He loves her drive and the fact that she is always up for trying new things (that he doesn't necessarily want to do!). He is proud of the way she applies herself to her goals.

 

Their wedding day was 7th September 2019 at The Mercure Woodhey House Hotel, South Wirral. We had perfect weather and the day was full of emotion. There was laughter and tears but most of all, everybody had a fantastic day! I started my day at the venue, where Fiona and her bridal party were getting ready. It was a relaxed yet fun atmosphere during the bridal prep with the bridesmaids taking loads of selfies. After Fiona had had her make up done, we headed down to her local hair salon, Hair By Teri in Eastham, before heading back to the venue for the dress reveal to Fiona's dad, Ron! His reaction was priceless and I'm glad I managed to capture it.

While all this was going on, Graham and his best man, Pete, had arrived and were greeting guests in the bar. The time had come for the wedding and we made our way to the ceremony room to await Fiona's dad to bring her down and offer her hand to Graham. After Ron giving the guests a good laugh by almost forgetting where to stand at the front of the room, the wedding ceremony proceeded.
